Scottsdale Community College offers Simply Cooking Camp for youngsters

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) – Future chefs can spend a while in the kitchen for a youngsters camp at Scottsdale Community College this summer. They’re learning healthier, less difficult recipes even as a home for the summer season.

“It’s really a laugh to prepare dinner and experiment with new meals, and so I can be impartial and mature and make more meals for my own family,” stated Sarah Monsegur, a camper.

The week-long Simply Cooking Camp teaches future chefs the importance of a healthy meal while learning how to prepare dinner for themselves.

“I wanted to get more experience so I could make extra stuff for my circle of relatives,” said camper Olivia Holzhauer.

“If you haven’t any cooking experience as you develop up when you emerge as a person, and also you circulate out, you are going to be eating fast food all of the time, and that is brilliantly unhealthy,” defined Jones.


The Tuesday menu included salads, chicken noodle soup, and paninis, which were healthy and clean to make while home for the summer season.
